Since 1934, Cathrine Langham operated a home craft centre for women at the farm. She donated the farm to the Anglican Church to start a girls only High School. Hence Langham Girls High School was started in 1983. Advanced level started in 2002 offering commercials and Arts. Sciences were introduced in 2017. The school was registered as an Advanced Level Cambridge Centre in 2023. The school now offers a French Diploma and Hexco examinations.

Management Structure The school is run by a Board of Governors appointed by the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Harare. The Board supervises the schoolHead who carries out the day to day management with the Expenditure Board. The SDC (Schools Development Committee) on behalf of the parents focus on development projects sponsered by their levy and fundraising. Board of Governers and SDC sit annually to agree on development projects and fundraising.
